About
Nicole Anderson teaches Critical & Cultural Studies at Macquarie University, Sydney, and is the Director of Learning and Teaching for the Department of Media, Music, Communications, and Cultural Studies. She is the co-founder and chief editor of the Derrida Today journal (Edinburgh University Press), and the founding organiser of the Derrida Today International Conferences. She is the author of Derrida: Ethics Under Erasure (Continuum April 2012). She is co-editor of Cultural Theory in Everyday Practice (Oxford University Press 2008), and sole author of a forthcoming book called: Culture (Routledge). Her research interests include Visual Culture (including film and art theory), Continental Philosophy, Deconstruction and Derrida Studies, Ethics, Biopolitics, Biocultures, Animal Studies, and Posthumanism. She has published various book chapters, and in various journals including: Film Quarterly, Social Semiotics, Scan, The Journal of Nietzsche Studies, Journal of Southern Philosophy and Parallax.
