Ms Penelope Ajani: Phytoplankton diversity in the coastal waters of New South Wales, Australia.

Ms Linda Armbrecht: Phytoplankton characterisation of the Coffs Harbour region, Eastern Australia, with special emphasis on changing biogeochemical parameters due to global warming.

Mr Alex Ferry: New Statistical Analysis on Diatom Proxy Data for the Estimation of Past Southern Ocean Properties.

Mr Joe Kenworthy (Co-supervised with Dr Melanie Bishop and Co-tutelle - Prof. David Patterson St Andrew's Scotland): Comparative estuarine dynamics, tropic linkage and ecosystem function.
