About
I have been described as a 'museum machine' (thank-you Lyn), a moniker I am becoming quite fond of! I am interested in pretty much anything, but I'm currently particularly taken with industrial heritage. I completed my Masters of Museum Studies last year, and have a BA majoring in history and sociology. I also completed a Movable Heritage Fellowship at the Powerhouse Museum (Sydney) last year, creating a basic virtual museum about a local newspaper and community (http://members.iinet.net.au/~macdonald/) and learning a great deal about the art of letterpress printing. I also run a children's history blog (http://tinglefactor.typepad.com) and have another on the way aimed at adults - stay tuned!
