I am the individual behind the group Current 93, writer, painter, in love with Coptic, lover of cats, OT and NT, Gnostic texts, Kierkegaard, the western mystery tradition. Recently self-teaching myself Akkadian. My dissertation for my MA was a critical edition of a Sahidic non-canonical text called “The Enthronement of Michael”. It will be published by the Institute Française d’Archéologie Orientale in Cairo. Right now I am working on a fragmentary magical two-sided mss. in Sahidic/Fayumic which will, hopefully, be published in a German collection of academic papers.I am not an academic, but a very enthusiastic amateur. My thanks to Professors Heike Behlmer, Stephen Emmel and Sebastian Richter under whom I studied Coptic and to all of those who have shared their knowledge with me in great kindness.
