About

I am in the final stages of my PhD research at Macquarie University in Sydney. My area of research is videogame theory and criticism, specifically unpacking different ways players approach games, apart from "winning."

I teach in the newly-established BIT and Arts major programs in videogame design and criticism at Macquarie, which is a collaboration between the Department of Computing, and the Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural studies. I am also a founding member of the Interactive Media institute at Macquarie.
